SEATWATCH

SeatWatch is a private work tool for viewing theater showtime, occupancy, schedule, inventory, restock, and notification information. It is not a public social app and does not sell personal information.

Information Collected

SeatWatch may collect or store the following information when you use the website or app:

Login/session tokens used to keep you signed in.
Basic device activity for admin analytics, such as recent connection time, visit history, browser or app type, app version, device type, and a short device label derived from them.
IP address and request information may be processed by the server, hosting provider, or security services for login protection, rate limiting, abuse prevention, server logs, troubleshooting, and keeping the app secure.
Suggestions or feedback you submit, including the subject and message text.
Notification settings you choose to save, such as Discord user ID or Telegram chat ID, when using the web version. The iOS app uses native notifications and does not need Discord or Telegram IDs; delivering native notifications involves Apple's push notification service (APNs) processing a device push token.
Inventory, restock, and theater-related data entered or viewed inside the app.
Schedule PDFs are parsed locally on your device and saved in that device's browser/app storage. They are not uploaded to the SeatWatch server.

How Information Is Used

This information is used only to operate SeatWatch, keep the app working, show admin usage analytics, send requested notifications, troubleshoot errors, and improve the tool.

Device Identification

SeatWatch may use device and session information to recognize recent visits and show friendly labels in the admin panel. These labels are used for operational awareness, not advertising. SeatWatch does not collect precise location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or payment information. SeatWatch does not respond to Do Not Track signals, and does not track users across third-party sites or services.

Personally Identifiable Information

SeatWatch does not intentionally collect names, home addresses, phone numbers, payment information, contacts, photos, precise location, government identifiers, or advertising identifiers. Some technical information, such as IP address, device information, session tokens, notification IDs, or suggestion text, may be considered personally identifiable information depending on local law or if combined with other information. SeatWatch uses this information only to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app.

Sharing

SeatWatch does not sell your information. Information is not shared with advertisers or data brokers. Notification data may be sent to the selected notification service, such as Discord, Telegram, or Apple's push notification service (APNs) for the iOS app, only when needed to deliver notifications you enabled.

Service Providers

SeatWatch uses infrastructure and security providers — such as Cloudflare and a hosting provider — that may process request data (like IP address and request headers) in order to deliver, protect, and monitor the service. These providers process this data to provide their services, not for advertising. SeatWatch also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google's servers (transmitting your IP address in the process). For the iOS app, Apple may provide aggregated crash and usage diagnostics if you have opted into sharing analytics with developers on your device.

Storage And Security

SeatWatch uses authentication, protected routes, and secure cookies where appropriate. Admin access is separate from the regular edit PIN. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but the app is designed to keep private dashboard data behind login access.

Cookies

SeatWatch uses only functional cookies and local storage — for login sessions and app settings. No advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies are used.

Data Retention

Operational data may be kept as long as needed for the app to function, show history, or support admin analytics. We may delete suggestions and usage history when no longer needed.

Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of information associated with your use of SeatWatch by contacting [email protected]. Some information may be retained when needed for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, legal obligations, or continued operation of the service.

Children

SeatWatch is intended for workplace use and is not directed to children.

Changes To This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time as SeatWatch changes. Updates are communicated by revising this page and the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of SeatWatch after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
